AUBURN HILLS (AP) -- Greg Monroe had 26 points and 16 rebounds, and the Detroit Pistons snapped San Antonio's 11-game winning streak with a 119-109 victory over the short-handed Spurs on Friday night.

San Antonio played without Tim Duncan and by Manu Ginobili, and the Pistons led by as many as 21 points in the second quarter. It was 65-52 at halftime, and although the Spurs cut the deficit to seven in the fourth, they fell short against a Detroit team that equaled its highest score of the season.

Tony Parker scored 31 points for San Antonio and Kawhi Leonard added 16. Brandon Knight had 24 for the Pistons, and Charlie Villanueva scored 21.
