PUEBLO, CO -- The Northern Michigan University outdoor track and field team has two All-Americans after the first day of competition at the 2012 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championship from Colorado State University at Pueblo on Friday (May 25). The Wildcats are in 17th place with seven points.

Sophomore Jamie Roberts became a three-time All-American and two-time outdoor All-American with a third place finish in the pole vault. She cleared 12 feet, 7.5 inches.

Redshirt freshman Sherice Hewett is an All-American in the triple jump, finishing eighth. She cleared 40 feet, 4.75 inches. Hewett was an indoor All-American earlier this year.

Senior Bailey Franklin participates in the high jump on Saturday (May 26) to wrap up the season for NMU.
