Michigan Tech head volleyball coach Orlando Gonzalez and assistant volleyball coach Carrie Gonzalez have resigned from their positions.  It was announced Wednesday by Tech Athletic Director Suzanne Sanregret.

Michigan Tech’s 2011 volleyball season concluded last Sunday (Nov. 6).  The Huskies were 0-19 in conference play and 2-25 overall.

Orlando Gonzalez was hired as Tech’s sixth head volleyball coach in August 2009.  Carrie served as part-time assistant coach for the 2009 season before moving to full-time for the last two seasons.

“I want to thank Orlando and Carrie for their service to Michigan Tech,” said Sanregret.  “We will begin a search immediately for our next head coach.”
