U.P. represented at State All-Star Softball Game

Five U.P. players have been selected to participate in the Michigan All-Star Softball Game July 20 in East Lansing.

Mackenzie Shepeck, Gladstone pitcher; Whitney Brugman, Marquette first baseman; Kasi Swajanen, Superior Central shortstop; Whitney Thull, Rapid River catcher; and Leah Willis, Rudyard outfielder.

Gladstone coach Gerry Smith (D-3) and Rapid River coach George Kanyuh (D-4) will be on the bench for one game.
