Woodworth, Saint-Onge miss cut at state golf event

EAST LANSING -- Two Upper Peninsula golfers just missed the cut at the Michigan Girls Junior Amateur Tournament on the Forest Acres West course in East Lansing.

Calumet's Zoe Woodworth recorded a 78 and 87 for a 165 over two days.

Marquette's Carley Saint-Onge scored 82 and 84 for a 166.  The cut was 164.

Kelly Hartigan of Clinton Township was the two-day medalist with a 151.

Match play begins Wednesday.
