NEWARK, NJ (AP) -- The Milwaukee Bucks have taken Wisconsin forward Jon Leuer with the 40th overall pick in the NBA draft.

The 6-foot-10 Leuer averaged 18.3 points per game for the Badgers his senior season and hit 36.8 percent of his 3-point

attempts in his career.

His shooting ability should help in Milwaukee's frontcourt, but he'll need to add weight and get

stronger to handle the rigors of the NBA.

The Bucks earlier completed a three-team trade to acquire Stephen Jackson, Shaun Livingston and the rights to the 19th pick,

Tobias Harris, from Charlotte and Beno Udrih from Sacramento for Corey Maggette, John Salmons and the rights to the 10th pick,

Jimmer Fredette.
