GWINN -- A fourth member of the Upper Peninsula Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association Boys Basketball Dream Team has announced his college plans.

Matt Sinnaeve of Gwinn has verbally committed to Ferris State next season.

Sinnaeve easily averaged a double-double on a young Modeltowners team.  He poured in 19 1/2 points and collected nearly 13 rebounds for the Black and Gold, contributing three assists and two steals as well.

In his junior season, Gwinn advanced to the Class 'C' Regional Final.

Sinnaeve visited several Division II and III schools before choosing Ferris State.

The Bulldogs won the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference title and moved to the Sweet 16 in the Division II tournament, but the Bulldogs lost four starters to graduation.

Previously, Superior Central's Jordan Chartier and Cedarville's Connor McLeod signed with Michigan Tech.

Ishpeming's Gabe Eppert will play football at Northern Michigan University.
