'Rocky' stops McBride by TKO
MARQUETTE -- In last Friday's Superior Warriors Muay Thai fights, Raquel 'Rocky' Magdelano TKO's Sault Ste Maries Jen McBride just nine seconds into Round 1. This was Raquel's first ever Mixed Martial Arts fight.
She had been a state champion wrestler for years before trying MMA just four months ago. Special thanks to Scott Fure for sending in this video to us.
Her brother Pat defender his Michigan Amateur State title the same night beating Jon Walker of Kalamazoo in a unanimous decision.
