NEWBERRY --

John Paramski, age 11, of Newberry has qualified for and will be competing in the National Finals of the NFL's Punt, Pass and Kick competition the week-end of Jan. 15-16 at half-time of a Divisional NFL Play-Off game (exact location TBA).

To qualify for the National Finals, he took first place at the State/Team Finals at Ford Field on December 5 during the Lion/Bear game.  While placing first in the State Final, he set an All-Time State Record for overall score in the 10-11 Boys Age division (this was the 24th Annual).

Only the country's top four scoring boys out of the 32 Nationwide Team/State first place winners advance to the National Final.  John is seeded second in the nation going into the Nationals.
