DETROIT -- Daniel Olson scored on a one-yard plunge to start the second quarter. The two point conversion try was no good.
At the end of the half, Hudson's Drew Milligan scored on a pitch with just about a minute remaining. The extra point was good and the Tigers took a 7-6 lead.
On the ensuing drive, Olson fumbled at his own 25-yard line. Hudson capitalized. Grant Benschotter punched it in from one yard out on 4th down with 21 seconds remaining in the half.
In the third on the opening drive, Olson was picked off after a few Hematite first downs. The Tigers then tossed a 30-yard pass for the touchdown to take a 21-6 lead.
The Hematites drove down the field on the ensuing drive and scored on another Daniel Olson one-yard plunge. Two point conversion was good this time, score 21-14.
