The International Skiing History Association (ISHA) and the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame and Museum have agreed to offer common benefits for a single $50 membership fee.
At the same time, the ISHA will relocate its worldwide headquarters to the Hall of Fame in Ishpeming.
The two organizations will now share membership revenues. Individuals who pay to join the ISHA will be contributing to the financial welfare of the Hall of Fame and vice-versa.
The joint revenues will continue to make possible the publication of the ISHA magazine Skiing Heritage, the operation of the sport's Hall of Fame and the National Ski Museum, and the operation of www.skiinghistory.org, the world's largest Web site dedicated to ski history.
The ISHA will move its office, currently located in Denver, to Ishpeming.
These services will take place in stages between June and the end of this year with Hall of Fame President and CEO, Tom West in charge.
