Three male wrestlers from the United States Olympic Education Center have returned to Marquette with first place finishes at the ASICS University National Championships in Akron, Ohio.

The competition was double elimination with a random draw, and wrestlers from the same club rarely faced each other.  The men were from the Greco-Roman team while the women were freestyle wrestlers.

Men - First Place:  Spenser Mango -  60 kg, 132.25 pounds;  Ben Sanchez  66kg, 145.5 pounds;  Mark Stenberg  84 kg, 185 pounds

Second Place:   Josh Castellano - 70 kg, 154.25 pounds;  Anton Gottfredson - 74 kg, 163 pounds

Third Place:  Alex Fleming - 70 kg, 154.25 pounds;  Jonathan Drendel - 74 kg, 163 pounds

Fourth Place:  Thrasher Porcher - 60 kg, 132.25 pounds;  Tanner Andrews - 66 kg, 145.5 pounds

Women - First Place:  Alyssa Lampe - 48 kg, 105.5 pounds

Second Place:  Erin Clodgo - 72 kg, about 158 pounds

Third Place:  Carlene Sluberski 48 kg, 105.5 pounds;  Ahnjahlee Akuna 72 kg, about 158 pounds

Fifth Place:  Amber Miracle - 72 kg, about 158 pounds
