Tech's Senior baller has won the award five times this year

Michigan Tech Senior forward Katie Wusocky has won the GLIAC womens basketball player of the week honors. Wysocky averaged 24.0 points, 13.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.5 steals in two Tech road wins last week.
The 6-0 senior tallied 28 points and 15 rebounds in just 27 minutes of action in a 91-54 victory at Saginaw Valley State Thursday (Jan. 21) before turning in her 14th double-double of the year with 20 points and 11 rebounds in a 72-67 win at Lake Superior State Saturday (Jan. 23). Wysocky is averaging 17.8 points and 11.7 rebounds this season.
This is the fifth time already this year Wysocky has won the award. The Huskies remain in first place in the conference and are on the road visiting Grand Valley on Thursday and Ferris State on Saturday.
