GREEN BAY, WI -- A few weeks ago TV6 told you about the Green Bay Packers working out former Michigan Tech standout Defensive Lineman Drew Vanderlin.

Today (4/28) we can now tell you the Packers have signed Vanderlin as an undrafted free agent.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

After the last player came off the board of this weekend's NFL Entry Draft, any player not selected became a free agent.

There was an outside chance the Huskie alum may have been picked by Packers late in the draft, but either way, the Green Bay native is returning to Titletown for at least a few min-camps and training camp which will begin in late July.

In his Michigan Tech career, Vanderlin made 117 tackles, 64 solo and 36 tackles for a loss. He also had 20 sacks.

Vanderlin has already earned a degree in Excercise Science from Michigan Tech.
