NMU Junior goaltender Jared Coreau has been named the Central Collegiate Hockey Association Warrior Goaltender of the Week for the second time this season.

Coreau, a native of Perth, Ont., stopped 84 shots in a series split with Lake Superior State over the weekend. He was one short of a career-high with 50 saves in a 3-1 win on Friday. Coreau stopped 32-of-34 shots in a 3-0 loss to the Lakers on Saturday.

In his third season with the Wildcats, Coreau has started all 36 games and is 15-17-4 between the pipes. He has a 2.59 goals against average and a 92.1 save percentage.

The 10-seeded Wildcats travel to No. 7 seed Michigan this weekend for the first round of the CCHA Tournament.

Coreau was the CCHA Goaltender of the Week on Jan. 7 after the St. Cloud State series. His career-high for saves was 51 at Notre Dame on Dec. 11, 2010.
