MARQUETTE -- Starting March 2, 2013, Delta Airlines will add a third daily flight to Detroit from Sawyer International Airport.
According to Sawyer, all three non-stop flights will continue to be operated with Delta's regional jet aircraft.
"We are fortunate that we can now offer a mid-day flight option to vacationers making their spring break travel plans," said Duane DuRay, airport manager.
Sawyer said Delta's latest commitment strengthens their community partnership with Delta and it significantly impacts economic development in the area.
