MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP -- The Michigan State Police Negaunee Post said they responded to a bomb threat Sunday morning at the Days Inn in Marquette Township. It happened at 1:12 a.m.

Officials said someone called in a bomb threat and pulled the fire alarm, causing the evacuation of guests and employees.

Police found no bombs or fire after the threat, and officials said a male subject was taken into protective custody and transported to Marquette General Hospital for evaluation.

Police are not releasing the suspect's name at this time.

The Marquette City Police Department also assisted in the investigation.
