Fatal fire victim identified

IRON MOUNTAIN -- The victim of a fatal fire in Iron Mountain on Wednesday has been identified as 66-year-old Robert Louis Davis.

Police believe Davis died from smoke inhalation during the fire that broke out in his home on S. Milwaukee Avenue on early Wednesday morning.

Firefighters had the fire successfully put out by 4 a.m. A Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
