Menominee company sold to Chinese company

MENOMINEE -- A Chinese investment company has acquired Enstrom Helicopter Corporation in Menominee.

The move is expected to create greater access to the growing market for helicopters in Asia.

A statement from Enstrom says they'll be expanding their Menominee facility to accommodate higher production rates.

Enstrom say it's seen a 50 percent growth in employment over the past year and a half.
