Junior Christian Jessie, of the Northern Michigan University football team, was selected to the 2012 Daktronics Inc. All-Super Region Four first team.

Jessie, a native of Grand Rapids, Mich., was the return specialist selection as he led the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in kick return yards (1,056) and average return yards (28.6). He broke a Superior Dome record with a 99-yard kickoff return in the final game of the season against Ferris State.

Jessie also finished the season with a team-leading 501 receiving yards on 33 catches. He led the team with eight touchdowns on six receiving, one rushing and the kick return.

The first team selections are now entered into a national ballot to decide the Daktronics All-Americans.
