Brian Stewart has been named this week’s Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) Goaltender of the Week.  The senior from Burnaby, B.C. led the Wildcats to its first sweep of the season and first two home wins with 5-1 and 6-3 victories against Nebraska-Omaha over the weekend.

In Friday night’s win, Stewart recorded 23 saves.  Saturday night he came back with 34 saves.  For the two games he had a 2.00 goal-against average and a.934 save-percentage.  Currently for the season, Stewart is 3-3-2 with a 3.18 goal-against average and a .898 save-percentage.
