SAYREVILLE, N.J. (AP) — Seton Hall University officials say they haven't decided yet whether basketball player Keon Lawrence will suspended.

Authorities say Lawrence was drunk when he drove in the wrong way in the southbound express lanes on the Garden State Parkway near Sayreville and hit another vehicle early Monday.

State Police Sgt. Stephen Jones says the 22-year-old has been charged with driving while intoxicated and driving with a suspended license.

Lawrence was treated for severe facial cuts and the driver of the other car sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The junior guard transferred from the University of Missouri in 2008. He was ineligible to play last season.

It was not immediately clear if Lawrence has retained a lawyer.
