Was the QB throwing it to the Negaunee player?

Congrats on a playoff win!! But that play is about as exciting as watching paint dry! Hancock should get the play of the week but only because its a Middle School team they are going to lose! Sorry Hancock you deserve it, better luck next time?

hancock should have won. their play was so much better! and to the guy below, who cares if it wouldn't happen in a play off game, it still happened! GO BULLSOGS!!

pick six

Posted by Bobby Denofre, Negaunee - Wednesday, November 04, 2009 at 3:17 p.m.

yeah the pick six is so much better because any money that the double reverse wouldnt happen in the playoffs of a varsity game. Negaunee deserves this much more than the others do. the play game in such a crucial part of the game because it changed all the momentum and propelled negaunee to win the game. Great pick six Jordan.

Dawgs way better!!

Posted by Doug Phillips, Michigan - Wednesday, November 04, 2009 at 2:57 p.m.

Dawgs had a 10 times better of a play than that pick. Anyone could get in front of a ball catch it and run hard into the endzone. Dawgs Deserce it way more!

Are you serious!

Posted by P D, Hancock - Wednesday, November 04, 2009 at 2:49 p.m.

The interception is a good play at an important time in an important game, but it was a bad pass and the runner didn't even have to braek a tackle. The mini Dawgs had 5 people touch the ball on the play with no time on the clock and the run included blocks and a whole wall of red shirts escorting the runner into the enzone...Good Luck in your next playoff game, and it is apparent that you will win the play of the week, but it is not a better play then the double reverse. The miners should try putting it in for Menominee!

Pick six

Posted by David Oglesby, Negaunee - Monday, November 02, 2009 at 11:37 p.m.

As impressive as Pick Six was, The real play of the game and the week, was when Grayling busted past the defense and ran it down the side and was then taken out at the 4 yd line by Negaunee, (and then being stuffed by the Negaunee "D" in the following plays.)

Great work young Bulldog's

Posted by Matt Griffith, Atlantic Mine - Monday, November 02, 2009 at 6:21 p.m.

First off let's say congratulations to all that are up for the play of the week. With that said.... WOW!! What a great job by some of our wonderful Upper Peninsula youth. The double reverse performed by the 8th graders at Hancock Middle School is such a joy to watch. Kids playing for the love of the game, and learning the ropes on their journey to eventually playing varsity football. Great job Bulldogs!!!!!
