All year, TV6 will be focusing on people, businesses, organizations, and events making a positive influence in the U.P. We call it "The Upside." We'll share a minute of our time to call attention to the many positive things that happen in Upper Michigan. All too often, we only hear about the negative things that happen. There's much more to life than that. We know there are many people who do things to help others have a better life. We know there are many businesses and organizations that make our communities a better place to live. So if you have any thoughts or ideas on the UPside, send them to TheUPside@wluctv6.com. TV6 is looking for people who embody our Let’s Work Together initiative. We call them “Upsiders”. These are the people in Upper Michigan who go above and beyond to help others. They are the volunteers who create and organize the big events that happen all year long in the Upper Peninsula They are those who give their time and talent in the service of people in need. They are those who work together to help build a stronger U.P. Now we want to acknowledge their dedication. If you know someone who is an Upsider, send us your UPsider Nomination. Or go on-line and fill out the form you’ll find on the “Lets Work Together” page and submit it to us. We’ll pick the best Upsiders and feature them on your TV6 News Tonight in May.
