Snowmobiler going to prison for hit-and-run

ESCANABA -- A Garden snowmobiler who purposely ran his snowmobile into a Marquette man is heading to prison.

Twenty-seven-year-old Douglas Duane Barbeau plead no contest to last January's incident.
    
His sentence is 16 months to five years in prison.  Barbeau was also sentenced to 12 months for felonious operation of a snowmobile, plus six months for attempted false report of a felony.  The sentences will run concurrently.
    
The 22-year-old victim was ice fishing on Garden Bay.  He suffered two broken legs.
