MARQUETTE -- One person is hospitalized after a shooting incident in the City of Marquette Wednesday morning.

The Marquette City Police Department responded to 518 Fisher Street at 5:30 a.m. where a female had been injured with a shotgun.

The police report that her injuries are non-life threatening. The incident remains under investigation.
