REPUBLIC TOWNSHIP -- The Marquette County Sheriff's Department located an elderly woman that went missing from her home in Republic on Tuesday night.

An 81-year-old woman, was last seen at around 10 p.m. on Tuesday night. Police said that she suffered from dementia.

Rescue personnel located her at around 8 a.m., a short distance from her home. She was wearing a Life Tracker tracking device.

The woman was treated for hypothermia on scene and taken to Bell Memorial Hospital to be treated for exposure.
