HOUGHTON -- The Pine Mountain Music Festival isn't just for classical music lovers.

If you like Jazz, the festival is offering you the opportunity to listen to 1930s and 1940s Swing Jazz. Thursday night, Steve Jones, the Garden City Hot Club and Glenn Basham performed at the Continental Fire Company in Houghton.

"This kind of music has a large following of people that really love this kind of swing-hot club music," said musician Steve Jones. "For us to bring it to the forefront in this kind of setting in association with the Pine Mountain Music Festival is exposure for that type of music that a lot of people love."

If you missed Thursday night's performance, don't worry. There will be an encore presentation on Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Orpheum Theatre in Hancock. Tickets are $10 at the door.
