HOUGHTON -- A Michigan Tech student ran into the back of a sand and gravel truck located on Cliff Drive in Houghton.  

Michigan Tech Police say the accident happened just before 9:30 Wednesday morning.

No serious injuries were reported and the male driver was transported to Portage Health.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.

The Houghton Police Department, Houghton Fire Department, Michigan Tech EMS, and Mercy Ambulance assisted on scene.
