MARQUETTE -- The man convicted in a meth lab explosion will spend at least seven years in prison.
Brian Chapman Howe was sentenced Friday morning in Marquette County Circuit Court. The 44-year-old Marquette County man was charged after a Gwinn home exploded last December. He suffered life-threatening burns as a result of the incident.
Last month, Howe was convicted of conspiracy and use of a building as a location for the manufacturing of meth.
The jury found him guilty after deliberating for nearly a day and a half. He was sentenced to a minimum of seven years in prison and a maximum of 20.
