NEGAUNEE TOWNSHIP -- Michigan State Police are still investigating a two vehicle accident in Negaunee Township that occurred on Thursday morning.

Officials say a car driven by 17-year-old Marissa Wealton of Ishpeming collided with a school bus at the intersection of M-35 and Marquette County Road 492.

Wealton was taken to Bell Hospital where she was treated for minor injuries and released. The preliminary investigation indicates she may have been driving over the speed limit.

The bus driver, Lawrence Nylander of Negaunee, was not taken to the hospital.
