MUNISNG -- If you're looking for a lumberjack show, one may not be too far away from you this weekend.

Munising's Bayshore Park is bringing back the Flannel Jack Fest this Saturday with a kickoff breakfast at 8 a.m. Crews were setting up Friday for vendor booths, food and entertainment.

Saturday's timber show will feature a chainsaw carver, log rolling, and axe throwing.

"Logging plays such a big part in the history of Munising and this area so we thought what better choice than have something that dealt with logging and the timber industry, and we have just really been very, very busy in town this summer, so it just gives everybody something to do," said Kathy Reynolds, Executive Director of the Alger County Chamber of Commerce.

The festival runs from 8 a.m. until midnight on Saturday, wrapping up with a dance at the Moose Lodge.
