MARQUETTE -- The third annual Family Fun Carnival put on by the Child and Families Services of the Upper Peninsula was held at Mattson Lower Harbor Park in Marquette Saturday.
For a small cover, families got to enjoy some music, raffle prizes, face painting, and the children got their dose of the bouncy house.
All the fun contributes to the organization's rainy day fund.
"It's great! It's what we can dip into when we need to do things for families that our grants don't cover or when we have needs in the office that our grants don't cover. So it's nice to have a little bit of a safety net to fall back on," said Bobbie Nease of Child and Family Services of the U.P.
Last year the organization raised around $4,000.
