Wildfire slowly being controlled

LUCE COUNTY -- The Duck Lake wildfire in Luce County is 89 percent contained.  The fire has burned through 21,127 acres of forest.  One-hundred-forty fire personnel are still working on the fire lines and in operations.
    
The entire fire area opened to all land owners Thursday evening.  The DNR is lifting those restrictions.  And then Monday, the public will be allowed back into the burned areas of northern Luce County.
