HARVEY -- The Habitat for Humanity's ReStore will be undergoing renovations, and in preparation for the changes, they will hold a huge sale this Friday and Saturday.
In an effort to clear out some merchandise, all items in the restore will be 75 percent off. After the sale, the store will add 260 square feet to the existing building. Habitat for Humanity employees are thankful for the community's support.
"Our customers who come in and purchase, help build a house; our donors who donate help build a house; and it's great to see the community that supports us as well as they do," said Bob Howe, Manager of the ReStore. "We're really thankful, so the opportunity to expand the store to better serve the community is what we're looking forward to doing."
The ReStore will be closing on Monday, May 21 and will reopen Wednesday the 23rd. Volunteers from the Marquette Sherriff's Department will be helping with the remodel during those days. The sale at the ReStore will take place Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
