CRYSTAL FALLS -- The trial is underway for a Kingsford man charged with murdering a Crystal Falls woman.

David Anthony Levack is charged with homicide felony murder, home invasion, and witness intimidation.  He is accused of killing 81-year-old Joyce Johnson of Crystal Falls.
   
Johnson was scheduled to testify against Levack in a stolen property case last September, but she was found dead in her home that same day.  An autopsy determined that Johnson died of strangulation.
    
Levack is also being charged as a third time habitual offender.  A jury was expected to be seated Monday with the trial resuming Tuesday morning.
