ISHPEMING -- The year was 1959 and Anatomy of a Murder, the book turned movie, was recognized as Michigan's Product of the Year during Michigan Week.

The writer of the book, Justice John D. Voelker, and Producer/Director of the movie, Otto Preminger, were honored at a dinner filled with Michigan lawmakers and stars from the film at the Negaunee Memorial Gymnasium.  This video shows the stars of the movie enjoying a night with members of the Upper Peninsula community and representatives from Lansing.
