IRON MOUNTAIN -- Nearly 40 women attended the Dickinson Area Christian Women's Connection for their monthly lunch hosted at the Pine Grove Country Club in Iron Mountain.  The festivities began at noon.
    
Participants paid for the lunch and the chairman made sure the attendees received more bang for their buck by having a musical presentation.  State Representative, Ed McBroom, and his wife, Sarah, sang a song together.

"The women really seem to enjoy themselves every month that they come.  There are smiles on their faces, and I've always heard there is no place better than to come to Pine Grove the second Wednesday of the month to Christian Women's Connection," said Event Chair, Patsy Norton.

The luncheon's keynote speaker, Lauri Van Osdol, talked about marriage and family.
    
The monthly gathering is geared to offer spiritual and emotional support to women of the community.
