MARQUETTE -- An Upper Peninsula entrepreneur is showcasing everything he knows about leaving a successful business in his new book.

David Saint-Onge's book, The Exit Equation, aims at educating business owners on pitfalls they might find if they don't do appropriate planning before leaving their business.  The author says the baby boomers are retiring at a rapid pace, and he wants to help them get the most wealth out of their business when they go to sell it.

He says his book can also benefit young people.

"The book may be a little bit more angled to the baby boomer generation because they are at the point at which they have to start making these critical decisions," said Saint-Onge. "A 25 year old, a 35 year old business owner can learn a lot about how to prep their business for sale as they get a little older, as they figure out what's important to them, and at what point are they going to exit their business."

The book is available for pre-sale on Amazon, and will be out in local bookstores in May
