MARQUETTE -- For one Negaunee family, Easter is a holiday they'll never forget.

Last month, they lost their home to a fire. This Easter Sunday, they got an outpouring of support from the community. Elizabeth LaForest's co-workers at Brookridge Heights in Marquette made sure her family got the help they needed. At their annual Easter meal at the home, the community brought in donations from blankets to kitchenware to toys and clothes for her four children.

"They have tried everything in their power to make everything go back to normal with giving me days off, helping with my children's clothes.  They have just been so awesome - so awesome in everything they've done," an emotional LaForest said.

Elizabeth spent the day at her job serving Easter dinner to those who attended.
