Munising High School held its first-ever formal dress sale Sunday
MUNISING -- Munising High School held its first-ever formal dress sale Sunday.
Members of the community donated formal dresses for the sale. Girls of all ages could come in and see what the sale had to offer. There was also cookie dough for sale. Arbon and Thirty-one Gifts also donated several pieces of formal jewelry and products. The sale is a fundraiser for three MHS cheerleaders. They will be attending a cheer camp called 'Cheer Hawaii' this summer.
"We are going to be staying at Hawaii Pacific University on their campus. We're going to work with coaches from all over the nation," said Morgan Sontag, a cheerleader.
The sale raised about $300 for the three girls, and the Thirty-one Gifts and cookie dough fundraisers are still ongoing.
