ISHPEMING -- Dozens of Cub Scouts gathered in Ishpeming for some winter fun. The annual Cub Scouts Winter Games brought scouts from all around the region to Aspen Ridge School.

Parents and volunteers helped facilitate the event. There were eight different games to compete in. All of them had a video game theme, including Angry Birds.

"Lots of fun. The kids are all working together, they're learning a lot about teamwork, they're learning about positive play, and that's what Cub Scouts is all about," said Darryl Mattson, a cubmaster.

The kids are all looking forward to next year's Winter Games.
