IRON MT. -- A new presentation series at Bay West College centers around art and music. This week, the artist was Joan Game who paints mostly with watercolors. Music from a harp filled the room as people looked over Joan's work.
The new program is aimed at educating Bay West students about different kids of art and the meanings behind them. Joan Game mostly paints women, and there is a message behind her work.
"She has a lot to do with women's rights and basically just being free and being who you are. I feel like she's trying to get a message across, and I think she does it effectively," said Erik LaFave, a student.
This is only the first of a series of these presentations at Bay West College.
