NEGAUNEE TOWNSHIP -- A home in Negaunee Township went up in flames Friday night.  Firefighters were called to a home at 144 Kivela Road around 8:30 p.m.

The home was fully engulfed when crews arrived on scene.  Smoke from the fire could be seen from US-41.  Firefighters were still on the scene late Friday night.

No one was in the home at the time.

There is no word yet on what caused the fire.
