IRON MOUNTAIN -- A Christmas wish has come true for a Korean War veteran and lifetime Packer fan. Zygmund Zyskowski resides at the Oscar G. Johnson medical center in Iron Mountain.
The V.A. has recently set up a program called the Butterfly Wish, which gives terminally ill patients their last wish. Thanks to a lucky connection, the V.A. was able to obtain a Packers' football signed by Aaron Rodgers and the rest of the Green Bay Packers.
“Him and his wife have attended many Packer games,” said Selena Okler. “He's not able to enjoy Christmas at home with his family this year, so this is a close second.”
Zygmund predicts the Packers will win the Super Bowl this year.
