MARQUETTE -- Are you looking for a perfect holiday gift?  A calendar from a local school lasts a year long and goes towards a good cause.

Photography students at Graveraet School are selling the calendars to help raise money for a school trip to Mackinac Island. The group wants to take pictures of the island to help showcase more of the U.P., and they want to specifically focus on the Mackinac Bridge.

"It will be really cool to take pictures of and see what it's like there for people who haven't been there," said student Kayla Maki.

The class used to have just one camera that they shared, but through the Marquette Area Public School Foundation, grants, and the money from their previous calendars, they have raised money for more cameras.
