MARQUETTE -- The investigation continues into Wednesday night's raid of a Marquette downtown business.

According to the Marquette City Police, hundreds of suspicious items were confiscated by police from Backroom Obsessions on South Front Street.

The items are believed to be suspected illegal controlled substances, which could be like synthetic marijuana or Spice and possibly bath salts.

No one has been arrested at this time.  Investigators have been looking into the store for three months.

Police also have a warrant on a store in Houghton, owned by the same person.

The store remains open.
