One dead in Wisconsin crash

STEPHENSON, WISCONSIN -- A Wisconsin woman is dead and two other persons hospitalized after a crash in Marinette County on Sunday.

According to the Marinette County Sheriff's Department, the two vehicle collision happened just after 12 p.m. Sunday on US-141, south of Airport Road in Stephenson.

A southbound SUV, driven by 51-year-old Robert Delveaux, Jr. of Green Bay, apparently crossed the center line and hit an oncoming SUV.  The driver of the second vehicle, 52-year-old Barbara Rymer of Pound, Wisconsin, was killed. Her passenger and daughter, 32-year-old Brenda Rymer, was taken to Bay Area Medical Center in Marinette for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The Green Bay man was seriously injured. He was initially taken to Bay Area Medical and later airlifted to another hospital. He remains hospitalized.

Names are not being released until family members have been notified.

The crash remains under investigation.

Assisting at the scene were members of the Crivitz Rescue Squad, Coleman Rescue Squad, Bay Area Medical Center Paramedics, Sheriff's Auxiliary, as well as the fire departments from Crivitz, Stephenson, Grover Porterfield, Lake and Pound/Beaver, and the Marinette County Highway Department.
