IRON MOUNTAIN -- Students at the Bishop Baraga Catholic School in Iron Mountain did their part to help out the Canathon Drive.  So far this holiday season, they've brought in over 1,000 pounds of food donations.  All of these are heading to either the Salvation Srmy or Saint Vincent de Paul.

Thanks to the students, Saint Vincent de Paul is stocking the shelves.

“We have been getting a lot of food, but according to the word I heard is that it'll go pretty quickly.  There's a lot of hungry families that we feed,” said John Schmidt.

The kids are more than happy to help.  They obtained lists from the food pantries and then sent word to different parishes asking if they could help with the cause.
