A windy day in the U.P.

UPPER PENINSULA -- Sunday's highs are remaining above average as they have all weekend, but the temperatures will be dropping quickly throughout the U.P. with each passing day as a low pressure system passes to our northwest.
Some clouds have finally moved in to make our days less sunny, but the real weather of interest is in our strong winds.
As the center of that low pressure system draws nearer to the Upper Peninsula, there's a strong pressure gradient making for strong winds. Most areas are receiving 15-25 mph sustained winds with gusts reaching up to 30 mph.
You can expect to experience these winds for at least another full day until that low pressure system moves further away, at which time we will receive some rain.
Dress warmly! It's a windy and rainy week ahead.
